all that time in the middle.
why hello,
i know i haven't been updating regularly like i said i would,
but i haven't been on the computer as regularly as i thought
i could! (rhyme)
we're finished with recording, completely... which is such a
wonderful feeling... i thought i was going to be so sad leaving
nashville, but i was so excited, because i'm so excited for
what is next!
what is next, you ask? well, jacob and i are going to start
on getting the album artwork sorted out and mixing/mastering will
start soon (hopefully)... we're wanting to have it done by
fall, which is a stretch, with no exact date in mind yet.
have i mentioned that the ep somewhat turned into a short full-length?
8 tracks does seem a little long for an ep... plus it sounds much more
exciting to call it a full-length (short or not)!
we do have a name for the album, but i'm not sure if i should release
it yet... for no real reason, just that i don't want to... ha!
there are a lot more video clips that i need to sort through, and i
will be posting a new video soon... thank you for your sweet words on
the last two... you all make me so much more excited for things to come!
also, i was at cornerstone in illinois this past week and i met so many wonderful
people who knew about my music and everything... i was actually very
surprised... but it was so encouraging and wonderful and such a blessing!

hi babiesssss! (more pics added!)
heyheyheyhey....
sooo... we leave for nashville tomorrow to start this ep recording adventure. there's a lot to do in so little time, so it might get a little stressful... but it will be super fun. can't wait! we finished demos this afternoon... it went really well. we worked on one song that i wasn't too sure about, but now i actually like it... so that's good...actually, i love it. it might be one of my faborites.
forgive me for not posting videos yet... i know i promised them sooner, but unless you want to watch ones of us awkwards singing flat group vocals, you're just gonna have to wait! but that does kind of sound appealing though doesn't it...
but in the meantime, here is a picture that i took from my phone on the way back from the studio... not too exciting... but it is colorful. speaking of colorful... this blog is not. that should change.
i will add more pics soon once they decide they want to get off of my phone! woo!

hello blog, nice to meet you.
heyyyyyyyy!
so, i (becky) haven't used a blog in a whiiiile.
so forgive me if my blogger skills seem a little rusty...
i just wanted to start this blog to keep you guys updated
on what's going on and what's going to be going on with
writing, pre-production, and recording.
blog is a funny word.
to be honest, it's been such a long time coming with this
whole thing called music, for me, that it doesn't seem
real that i'm actually going to get something done...
believe me, it's an incredible blessing and i won't take
it for granted, nope! so please, if you're interested, keep
checking back on this blog... i plan to update it regularly!
